I just wanted to remind everybody about our meeting tomorrow March 18th at 12 noon at Akemi Cohn's studio. Akemi will fix a simple lunch. Please feel free to bring something to accent the meal as well as a piece or two of your work for show and tell.

Akemi will discuss a bit about her work and her use of colored rice paste resist technique (Nassen Katazome) using natural dyes, various Shibori techniques, indigo dye, Sashiko stitch, felting, nuno felting, and also explain how to cut traditional Japanese stencil for Katazome.

Information about our upcoming spring exhibition, Blind Eye: The Result of Doing Nothing in Pilsen at The HumanThread gallery will also be discussed.

Save the date, Sunday April 22 we will be meeting at Maggie Weiss' studio. You can see her work on her website. She will be offering a Thermofax mini-class. Check her site out Here .
