Blue World/Green World includes 34 pieces by 16 of our members. Works for this exhibit range from representational to impressionistic to abstract. They are all references to the natural world, exploring the real world of sea, sky, field and trees as well as the metaphorical world, the limitless possibilities and the wonders of the here and now. This exhibit promotes serenity and groundedness. Members of the Fiber Artists Coalition employ a variety of innovative materials and techniques in the creation of quilt art with a distinctively contemporary edge.

Through multifaceted work that crosses the boundaries of the representative, to the impressionistic, to the abstract - this show reveals the beauty and pathos of our association to the contemporary natural world.
