From the Inside Out at SIUE and workshop opportunity

Here is the new flier for our show announcing the new venue and opening reception date. As you may remember from my earlier post, our venue moved to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to the new gallery in the Department of Art & Design. You can link here for info on the gallery.

We are thrilled to be in such a beautiful space.
Our opening reception will be Friday, August 22, 2014, 5 to 9 pm. The show runs through September 21.

We are also thrilled to announce that Rio Wrenn will be joining us from Portland, Oregon for the opening and will be teaching a workshop in the newly renovated textile lab at SIUE on the weekend. Rio's workshop, From the Inside Out: Dyeing & Printing with Iron and Tannins, promises to be a magical experience. I hope you'll consider joining us for the fun.  Workshop and contact information can be found here.

Rio's is the 2nd workshop associated with this exhibit.  Fabienne Rey's workshop on eco-printing is full.  However Fabienne will give an artist talk at the gallery on September 18, 7 pm which is open to the public.
