Shibori Rust on silk dupioni
48" wide by 114" long

This is one of my new shibori silk pieces now on display in the Contemporary Fiber Arts show at the J. Scheidegger Arts Center at Lindenwood University. Jessica Forys-Cameron of Illinois, and Leandra Spangler and Carol Zeman of Missouri were also invited to exhibit. Jessica creates paintings and sculpture that involve fiber work. Leandra and Carol are both papermakers.  Each of us brought 10 pieces to the gallery.

I just finished posting about the show at my blog Sentimental Pentimento. I've included links to the other artist's work/websites and have lots of pictures there.

The reception was Thursday, August 30.  The show runs through September 30.  Hope you can visit the gallery this month.
